"This is not only a great cookbook for campers, bikers and outdoors people but a great travel book even if you don't camp. The pictures and writing are worth giving to anyone that you know that travels or cooks or does both! We've made a number of the recipes already at home because they are recipes based on what is actually available. Lisa and husband Simon, are a great couple and have LOTS of stories to tell - follow them and go hear about their adventures if you have a chance. "I could give this a five star on the photography alone. Not just photos of the food but of all the wonderful people and places around the globe But it's much much more than that. I can't say I have ever sat and read a cookbook. This one is worth it. The stories and amazing recipes!"

"Absolutely brilliant! With the stunning photography alone this is a book you can leave on your coffee table with pride. The stories are captivating and makes your bedside table another great place to keep this book. But the kitchen, be it in your house or your roadside traveling kitchen, that is where this book really shines.

The recipes are clear, concise, and anyone who can read can cook these marvelous dishes. I love the orange pork and the tips on roasting peppers are fantastic! Tips on what to pack for your 'kitchen', food & water safety tips, reminding you to leave no trace, food storage tips, building a campfire, measurement tips...this is an all-encompassing guide to gourmet food on the road. You should just purchase two copies of this book outright.
