Via their remarkable story the Thomas's reveal the mindset, skills, tools and techniques that they employ to not only survive, but flourish, in many of the worlds most politically explosive and dangerous regions.

Their proven methodologies have enabled them to explore the globe for over a decade, traverse the length of six contients, forge a worlds 'first route' through the Amazon jungle and connect with cultures in almost 100 countries.

At the end of the day it's about inspiring delegates to strive toward greater success, and importatnly giving them the tools to find that success, no matter what the arena.

BIOGRAPHY

Imagine yourself stranded in the Amazon Jungle. You have two cracked cervical vertebrae, (a broken neck). Your left side is paralyzed and you’re blind in your left eye. Your motorcycle needs repair and your only companion, your wife has come down with malaria. Oh, and it’s the rainy season, so the only way out means navigating a life-sucking mud track, nearly a foot deep. The closest civilization is hundreds of miles away, and help is not on the way!

Simon and Lisa Thomas don’t have to imagine it. They lived it. They survived it.

They made their necessary repairs, and spent the next three weeks riding, pushing, and picking their motorbikes up, over and over, until finally, mercifully, they reached help. Upon reaching hospital they were treated for a host of medical concerns that left medical staff in disbelief that they had not only survived but still wanted to continue.

Following emergency cervical surgery and a spell of hospitalization they once again jumped aboard their motorcycles and gladly continued to push the boundaries of what many describe as impossible.

Considered by many as the world’s foremost Adventure Motorcyclists, adversity is nothing new to this pair who confess to thriving on finding new challenges.

Prior to the start of their 14-year global motorcycling odyssey, Simon Thomas was the owner and Vice President a telecoms company and Lisa led the IT team at a major UK utilities company. With a host of business successes and having broken multiple world motorcycling records, they passionately share their thoughts on taking personal responsibility, achieving life goals and transforming thought into action.

Unlike many other public speakers, they are also candid about their failures and how this aspect is a vital part of the learning cycle. Both Simon & Lisa share countless real-world examples of how their positive attitudes, techniques and value framework were crucial to overcoming adversity.

The pair were filmed as a part of a BBC mini documentary as they explored South America and have made over 40 national and local TV appearance on 5 continents.

In 2011 they were invited to join the Committee of Advisers for the Ted Simon Foundation. Their photographic work was recognized in the same year, when Nikon announced it was to back them as the exclusive photographic partner of the 2RTW project.

They are currently still engaged in their record-breaking journey around the world on two BMW motorcycles.
