Lithuania - dont blink!

We hope to come back one day and explore Lithuania but at present we only drove through it on our way to Poland. We expect there will have been many changes as we were riding though Lithuania at a time of huge change – the country was aiming to join the EU and become a full member of NATO next year, 2004. I wonder how it will fair?
