it’s easy to fall in love with Dawson City. We’re especially thankful to Sarah (on reception) and Veli Kuenzi (owner) for supporting us both with a night’s free accommodation. Their generous support allowed us an extra night in Dawson City and allowed us to photograph the aurora borealis. Do yourself a favour and stay at the Bunkhouse, it’s cool, fun and in the centre of town. With easy parking up front and rooms on three floors, it’s highly recommended.

A sincere thank you to Sven’s Basecamp Hostel who supported us with two nights accommodation and a great place to work, rest and prep for our ride to Deadhorse. With on-site internet, an office workroom and a fully equipped group kitchen, Sven’s is the best choice for the independent traveller arriving in Fairbanks.

The location is perfect and within walking distance to shops and supermarkets and the staff will make you feel relaxed and welcome. Enjoy
